Issue three of Bravery is all about Mexican artist Frida Kahlo.
We are DEEPLY in love with this mag which was created by two mums looking for something fun and empowering for their kids to read. They couldn’t find it, so they created it (and smashed their kickstarter goal within three days!). It’s bright, fun, empowering and our kids are OBSESSED!
Frida is known for her self-portraits and the way she portrayed her emotions through art. Though plagued by pain for most of her life, Frida never let that stop her from pursuing her passions. Issue three teaches about Frida’s life in a fun, engaging way through illustrated stories, fun DIYs, and educational activities that the whole family will enjoy. There’s even a parent section! With an illustrated cover by Bodil Jane and original content and artwork from over 18 talented contributors, Bravery is both beautiful and functional. Bravery Magazine is a guide for dreaming and doing, and we hope it will inspire your little ones to be their own kind of brave.

Bravery is designed with girls and boys ages 4-9 in mind, but really, we think Bravery is for everyone.
